Hawken Project Blog 1
For my Hawken Project, I will be volunteering at the NCJW Thriftique showroom. The first aspect of this that appealed to me was working in something retail. On my own, I do a little bit of dropshipping on eBay. I thought it would be a valuable experience for me to spend three weeks viewing how a retail shop is run. From what I have heard, every Monday-Friday for the next three weeks, I will be volunteering at the thrift shop from 10 am-4 pm. I have a fair amount of experience selling sports cards, so they told me they have a lot for me to go through. In addition to that, they have told me I will be running their social media on Tik Tok. I have never used Tik Tok so posting content for the thrift store will be a learning experience for me.
